Michelin, French, fine-dining

minimalist, cozy

High-end, modern French cuisine in a Portuguese courtyard.

Nestled in the courtyard of Patio Dom Fradique, near Lisbon’s iconic Castelo Sao Jorge, Grenache is the perfect assemblage of old and new.

Chef Philippe Gelfi brought the finest modern French cuisine from Paris to Lisbon. The Michelin Guide recognized them in 2023.

I went to the restaurant in early February, and the dining space was chilly (I had to keep my winter jacket on). Not sure what happend with French people's tolerance of the cold.

The food was creative, but of course it comes with a big price tag. (Even more expensive than some of the best Michelin star restaurantsi in town).

Would you try this?👀

I started to understand the difference between Michelin restaurants with and without a star...
